I’m Li Hua. On behalf of the Students’ Union, I’m writing to tell you about a labor activity outside the school.

Considering students today seldom get involved in physical work or chores, the activity is intended to fuel our passion for manual work and highlight its importance. We will gather at the school gate at 8 this morning before a bus takes us to a nearby farm. Our task includes weeding, watering, applying fertilizers and spraying pesticides. Hopefully, this experience will remind us to treasure what we have and help us to develop a sense of responsibility for nothing is easily achieved.
