My school has a beautiful large campus with a variety of advanced teaching facilities. What makes me feel very proud is that the teachers here are friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever
I am puzzled by the problems, whether in study or in life, I can turn to them for help. However, on the other hand, there exists something that disturbs me a lot. Too much everyday homework and frequent tests always keep me too busy to have a good rest and develop my interests.
If I could make a school, in my mind, the school should provided more hands-on, personalized, engaging subjects or activities that preserve students’ curiosity and joy of learning. The teachers would focus on teaching the students how to learn, not what to learn, creating lifelong learners, explorers and discovers. In addition, I think it would be great to have a day off every week, as well as the weekend. I am sure we could learn just as much in fewer hours if we improved our learning efficiency.
