On Jan 26, Kobe Bryant（科比·布莱恩特）, one of the most legendary NBA players in history, died in a terrible accident. He was 41 years old when a helicopter he was riding in crashed, killing him and eight others, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant.

A good friend of mine took every single literature class she could while in college and decided early on that she wasn't cut out to be a teacher. Every flu vaccine is a cocktail, aimed at either three or four of the most common flu types. Flu vaccines must be recreated every year because flu viruses develop constantly in a process called antigenic drift. The tree-lined lane is pretty in every season. I have its images hanging in our home and at my workplace. Many people have asked me about them. When I told them where I took the pictures, they were always surprised. They probably never slowed down enough from their busy lives to notice the great beauty so close to home.
