Teenagers often have problems with English. Yesterday we hold a discussion about what to learn English well. We came up with some suggestion. For example, some of us thought it was important to take the active part in classroom activities, because we could learn a lot of during the activities. Some agreed watching American films could a good way to improve listening and speaking skills. Others suggested read English novels to practice English.

Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. Yesterday a schoolboy is daydreaming in class.Not knowing that he was doing,he put a pen cap into his mouth. The 33yearold adventurer, from Liverpool, has become the first person to visit all 201 countries in the world without using a plane.

Hughes used buses, taxis, trains and his own two feet to travel 160,000 miles in exactly 1,426 days — all on a shoestring(资金微薄) of just $100 a week.

I think university life is a time for learning and experiencing new things. I can meet the other young people like me from many different places and can make lots friends. I will probably study and live away at home during this time, so I will have a lot more independent. Studying at university will be quite differently from studying at high school. I may not have so many homework to finish every day, but I will have to spend much more time working by myself. I know that in any university they are different societies or clubs organizing by the students themselves. I want to join the film society and the travel club because I show interest in both activities. This societies and clubs can make my life interesting and helped me make friends.
