I have learned a lot about Shanghai and I had been dying to go there. When I’m in Shang-hai, and I’ll walk along the Bund (上海外滩), on which I can see many western-style buildings. At noon, we want to eat some delicious snack in Yu Garden. After lunch, I plan to visiting the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which is the seventh high tower in the world. While walk my dog this morning, I happened to see a heartwarming sight. A mother was rushing towards her car with her children’s schoolbags. Behind her was two children crying at the top of their voices. They barely moved their foot. Instead, they were too busy crying or seeking for attention. After the mother had been placed the schoolbags in the car, she ran towards her children with her arms widely open. She smiled as she approached them, held one in her left arm, the another in her right and carry them both to the car. The children's tears changed to laughter in flash.

Seeing this, I was moved by tears because of the mother's strength and love for her children.

I used to being very scared of people who were different from those I grow up around. Last year, my parents took me to France, when I was surrounded by foreigner. I was very nervous at first. But as I observed them, I found that as if I could not understand their languages, they seemed to be said and doing the same kinds of things we say and do in my country. Yet throughout Mrs. Johnson’s 33 years in NASA and for decades afterwards, almost no one knew her name.

Mrs. Johnson was one of several hundred strictly educated, supremely capable yet largely unrecognized women who, well before the modern feminist movement, worked as NASA mathematicians. But it was not only her sex that kept her long unsung.
