settings,for instance,when kids sleep near each other in beds,tents or cabins.Unless children
already have potential illness or immunodeficiencies (免疫缺陷),going to summer camps
does not necessarily have a greater risk of catching A/H1N1 flu than going to public spaces
such as playgrounds and shopping centers,he added.
     Some camp administrators said they would send any sick child home immediately or
separate them in a clinic and let them play board games while they are being observed.
"We try to create a temporary camping center in the summer and we are very vigilant
about it," said Andy Pritikin,director of Liberty Lake Day Camp in Mansfield,who sent a
child with fever home last week,with full credit to come back later in the summer.
     "Parents should know whether camp nurses are available.And if there's only a bottle
of medicine and a bed in the back room,and it takes three and a half hours to get to the
nearest hospital,parents need to know that," said Sean Nienow,director of the National
Camp Association.

     Ever since I was a little girl, blue has been my favorite color. I think I got it from my
aunt in Mexico. Some of my earliest memories are visiting her in Mexico and sitting on a
chair in her kitchen, which had blue and white tiles(瓷砖)from the floor to the ceiling. I
would spend countless hours admiring all the beautiful blue and white plates and shiny blue
tiles around her kitchen. Once I had a home, I began to build my own blue and white

     English families face being limited to 80 bags of rubbish a year. Households throwing away
more waste will have to take it to the tip (垃圾站) or buy a limited number of extra bags.
     Doretta Cocks, protester of the Campaign for Weekly Waste Collections, said, "They must
think we are fools. How can they claim to be concerned for the environment when they tell people
to drive to the local tip? And what do you do if you don't have a car? Walk?"
     The plan ignores the voice from ministers to end such heavy-handedness (笨拙).
     It is to be carried out by the Tory-led council (市政厅) in Wokingham, Berkshire, and is
already in operation in Brozbourne in Hertfordshire.
     Many of the 180 councils that still offer unlimited weekly rubbish collections are watching the
trial.
    Wokingham officials have told residents that 75-litre bags will be given to each household and
anything not left in them will not be collected.
    "Every household will receive 80 bags every year," it said. "You can buy extra bags in rolls of
ten but this will not be encouraged."
    Families of five will get 100 rubbish bags a year and households of six or more will get 120.
    Residents will have a weekly recycling collection limited to cans, paper and cards, plastic bottles
and so on.
    Plastic packaging and glass including bottles must either go with the general waste or be taken to
recycling points. Green waste pick-ups cost an extra ￡60 a year.
    The council has told residents it will save ￡922,000 a year under the new system. There will be

Any vehicle is a hybrid when it combines two or more sources of power. Hybrid cars run off a

power until the car reaches about 24 km/h. If you stay at a low speed, you are effectively driving an
electric car, with no gasoline being used, and no waste gas gives off.

electric, and when to use a combination of the two. If you go over 24 km/h, when you step on the gas
pedal (油门), you are actually telling the computer how fast you want to go.
     The electronic motor recharges automatically using a set of batteries. When driving at high speed, the
gasoline engine not only powers the car, but also charges the batteries. Any time you use the brake, the
electric motor in the wheels will work like a generator and produce electricity to recharge the batteries.

Experts from the Children's Hospital in Boston, US, have said that some teens don't get enough of
this important nutrient. Vitamin D is necessary for developing healthy bones. It is produced by the body
