Never shall I forget the first English lesson giving by Miss Liu. One Monday morning , when she entered the classroom, we found out that she was a young and beautiful lady. Then she introduced her and said they shouldn’t call her Teacher Liu but Miss Liu. Late, she let us go to the blackboard and said something about ourselves in English in turn. When it was my turn, I felt too shy that I didn’t dare to say anything before the class. She went up to me and said kind, “Don’t be afraid. I believe you can do well.” At last, I went to the blackboard. She praised me for that I had done. 

Today I’d like to tell you anything about riding a bike in London. If you visit London, you’ll

see many buses, cars or bikes. It’s very cheap and quick to use bike. If you take a bus, I often have to wait for an hour or so. Besides, the buses move very slowly. The underground is quickly but expensive and often crowded. I used to travel to work by bus. I was often late, and tiring. Then a friend suggested we went to work by bike. I followed him. Although we went slowly, but we always arrived on time. Taking a bus takes 50 minutes, while ride a bike only half an hour. Now I love riding to work and I feel more better.

In order to make best of learning materials, the Student’s Union of our school is planning an

activity. The school – leavers are called on to give away our used books, newspapers or magazines to the student in the lower grades. The idea, that is intended to promote friendship and encourage a low – carbon lifestyle, are highly praised and supported by the teachers and students alike. The activity will be hold on the first floor of the school library and so it will last eleven days, from June 10 to 20. as student, I am strong for the activity because it is very meaningful and helpful. I hope that this kind of activity would continue every year for the future.

 A man went to an insurance office to have his life insured. The manager of the office ask him how old his parents were when they were died. “Mother had a bad heart and passed away at age of 30.  It is important to know that a parent can do to help reduce children’s stress. If you notice that your child is becoming nerve, he may have problems at the school. He may has trouble sleep. He may be depressing and begin to suffer from headaches. You should talk him to try to discover the cause of her stress. You can spend extra time help him. In short, you need to be complete supportive and encouraging all the time.

Advertisements is helpful to producers. With the help of advertisements, producers provide people to information about their new product—their good quality, their low prices, and their popularity. In a result, the new products may sell good and the producers may benefit a lot.

   Advertisements are also help to customers. They tell people which are badly in need of a certain thing where to get them. In addition, they can help people to choose some products. With advertisements, people might have to grope(摸索) on the dark.

Later in April, a photo show was holding in our school. It was great success! All the photos were

taken by the students ourselves. There were both black-and-white and color photos, presented

our school life, the beauty of nature, festival activities and so on. All the works of art were for

show in the reading room . Every day, a large number of student went to enjoy it and they

were surprised to find out that the pictures were too wonderful. Those students their photos were

chosen the best were given unexpected prizes. In short, this photo show really make our life colorfully.

It was snowing hardly last Monday morning. Li Hua was at the bus stop, waited for Bus No.6 to go to school. In a while, a bus came and she got it. There were many passengers on the bus. Some were talking but some were looking out of the window. Suddenly the bus stopped. The driver turned around and said, “sorry. The bus has been broken down. Please get off and help push it.” When he heard this, Li Hua and the other passenger got off the bus. They worked hard together, pushed the bus forward. Soon the bus was running again. Both the passengers were smiling and the sun was shining.

I went to see film after supper. On my way to the cinema, I met an old English woman, she

had lost her way. I gave up the chance to see the film, walking towards her and took her to her

hotel. While go there, I told her great change had taken place in the past few years and she told me

anything about Britain and her family. Though I missed the film, however I felt very happy, for I

not only helped the old lady out from trouble but also practise my spoken English. If I hadn’t

worked hard at English, I would have been able to help her.
