It was one of those cold winter nights in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco . I was driving an eyesore（丑陋的东西）that could only be  36  as a “ car ” by someone who was either a shameless liar or a good friend .

After the earthquake hit northeast Japan on March 11, many moving stories that I saw with my own eyes happened around me.

Tom was a middle-aged leather trader whose repeated failure in career

I was tired and hungry after a long day of work.
