I liked climbing things when I was a baby. My mother remembers and has told me most of those   16  moments like this one. When I was one and a half years old, we lived in our first house in Rue St-Louis. On a hot summer day, my father intended to   17  the roof of our old house. In order to climb up there, he   18  a ladder front of the house.

Once there was a very brilliant, creative and educated man. Diana Velex does everything with maximum effort — and at maximum speed. That  41 learning a new language, completing two certificates and opening a store.
When arriving in Canada in 2008, she had one  42 : to have what she had back home in Colombia. “I didn’t want to  43 what I do, like so many who come to a new country.” she said. “I  44  to open a store here in Canada but knew I had to 45  myself properly.”

With a determined(坚定的) look on his face, Chicago’s Michael McCarthy held on to the banister(扶手) and climbed to the top of the Willis Tower not long ago. The Tower stands 1,451 feet(442 meters) tall, the 21 building in the US.
As he got to the last step, McCarthy 22 fell down, but that didn’t stop him. The 14-year-old boy finally finished climbing the 2,109 steps and arrived at the top, where he 23 cheers from many people.
