You have asked me for suggestions(建议)on how to get along in the US. It is 1 to give advice, but I think the following “dos” and “don’ts”  are helpful.

As a 2, it isn’t easy to find anyone to 3 in a big city. However, here are my suggestions. First, get or borrow a 4 . Walk him several times a day. When someone says six o’clock, be sure to be there by six. 18. Respect(尊重)19and expect everyone to be “on time” .

You Did More Than Carry My books

Mark was walking home from school one day when he noticed the boy ahead of him had dropped all of the books he was carrying, along with a baseball bat and several other things. Mark 1 down and helped the boy pick up these articles. 2 they were going the same way, he helped to carry me of them for him. Here in Alaska, the wolf almost disappeared a few years ago, because hunters were killing hundreds of them for  1  . However, laws were passed to protect the wolves  2   the sportsmen and also the people who  3   the animals for fur. So the wolf population has greatly

With a heavy heart Sally arrived early on the morning of the auction(拍卖). It was almost a year since her dear grandmother had passed away in this house at the age of ninety-two. 　　1

We believe that life will be    1   after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are discouraged that the kids aren’t    2   enough and we’ll be more pleased when they are. When Chinese scientists unearthed more than 1 000 bamboo slips(竹简) in a 2 000-year-old tomb in Hubei Province earlier this year, they were more   1   than happy.

How could they stop these   2   ancient works from being damaged by the light? As soon as the   3   dried out, they would break and the words written on them would be   4

The Grand Ole Opry, in Nashville, Tennessee, has always been America’s most important concert hall for country music. Every Saturday night the place is filled to the ceiling with country music    1   .

It was a cold winter’s afternoon. Robert stopped for a moment as he crossed the bridge and looked down at the river below. There were hardly a 1  on the river.
