Dear editor,

I am a high school student．A few days before,

one of my very good friend told me that he was

going to stop school．He said that he wanted to start

his own's business．I tried my best to get him to

his studies．The process is more important than the

result is．Now there are only 90days being left before

the test．I am not sure his decision is right or wrong．I

My winter break was really interesting or I did a lot of things that I wanted to doing．On the first weekend, I went snowboarding with my friend, Ian．After that there was time to celebrate Christmas．I went to my aunt's house celebrate Christmas Eve．I got a lot of present that I liked a lot．Two days later, my family took the trip to Mexico．We travelled around Mexico and buy a lot of souvenirs．Then I came back home so that I could go to some wonderfully parties with my friends．I guess that the holiday was most active than others because of it was New Year's weekend．

Air is anywhere, surrounding our planet．Though we can't see it, but air has some strength．Planes can fly because the strength of the air．Planes are very bigger than birds．How can they keep in the air without fallen?The question is：as the engine pulls the plane through the air, the air press on the under part of the wings and holds up the plane．Then a plane starts from the ground, it runs on it's wheels．The pressure of the air under the wings lifts them off the ground and the plane rises like a bird．

When you are traveling abroad, it is importance to follow the customs of the country where you are visiting．If invited to a home in Britain, here is some advices．As soon as you were invited, it is good manners to refuse or accept the invitation, either by writing nor by telephoning．When you go to the party, it is polite to arrive at on time．It is good manners to shake hands to your host．You can take a present if you like, possible a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates or some flowers．However, it is no bad manners to take nothing．It is not polite to stay too late before the other guests have gone, of course．

A Frenchman was once visiting London．He wished to take a walk to see a city．But he was afraid he might get lost because he knew no words of English．So before he left his hotel, he stopped in the first corner and carefully copied in his notebook the names of the street that he was staying．Then he walked on．At last, he gets lost．After several hours he found a policeman．The Frenchman tried his best to explain the policeman that he didn't know the name of his hotel, and he knew the name of the street．He then showed the policeman that he copied in his notebook．It was read：“One-way street”．
