It is over 3 year now since I began study English．At first I found it very difficult．I couldn't get most of the sounds right, spell the words correctly and remember the rules of the grammar．Under the help of my English teacher and classmates, I have made many progress．Now I am getting well with my English study．Three years' study have taught me that one can't learn English well without working hard．We should do more listening and speaking both in and out of the class．At the same time, we must pay enough attention to read as well as writing．Only on this way can we get the best result in the shortest time．

Dear Mum,

　　I’m considering work in Africa next year when I graduate．I will teach the English in a village school in Zimbabwe, which is the southern part of Africa．There many adults received few education when they were young but they want our kids to be well-educated．

I used to be a loser and everything which I did always had wrong．During that time, I was extreme disappointed with myself．I couldn’t do everything well however how easy it was．In the meantime, an old friend of me encouraged me to stand up again and told me that I was still young enough to try more times．I took his advices and made a great effort to achieve something．Then I found I could do things much more better．Now I not longer think I am a loser．I determined to do everything well．

The water we drink and use was running short．We all have to learn what to stop wasting water．One of the steps that we should take are to find ways of reusing it．Today in the most large cities, fresh water is used only once and then it runs in waste system．But that is possible to pipe the used water to a purifying factory, there the used water can be treated with chemical materials by the workers so that it can reused．But even if every large city purified and reused it’s water, we still would have enough water．
