　　I think there is no easy way to succeed in teaching a new language．A good memory is a great help．However, it is not much use learning by heart long lists of words and its meanings．We must learn by using language．

　　“Learn through practice” is a piece of good advice for those which are learning a new language．Practice is very important．We must practise to speaking and writing the language so much as we can．We learn to swim by getting onto the water and swim．And we learn to speak a new language by speaking it and not by being telling about it．

After supper Liu Wei came and ask me to go and see a film with him．In our way to the cinema, we saw the little girl sitting by the roadside crying．We bought her a cake to stop her cry．When we asked she lived, she said she did not know．So we took him to the police station and asked the polices to take care of her．After that we went to the cinema．And when we got there, the movie was almost over．Although we missed the movie, but we felt very happy because we did a well deed．

As a high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures．There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term．They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise a language．I seize every chance to talk them．However, I sometime find they are not so interesting　in what I say, and it’s hard for I to choose a suitable topic．I would like some advices about how　to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick．

As is known to all that our students of today have to fix our attention on our lessons, so we know few of society．A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that．Take a part-time job is a good form of social practice．That we have learned in books and in class can’t have same important effect on us as what we have learned through personal practice．In social practice, we can surely make a progress in both knowledge or practical ability．Beside, when we take a part-time job, we may got paid more or less to help our family．Thus, I will say a senior school student should take a part-time job in his/her holiday, if possible．

Did you enjoy yourself yesterday? I suppose you did．But I’d like to tell you how a bad day I had yesterday．Nothing just went wrong．On the morning, my alarm clock didn’t ring, so I woke up an hour later, I was in such hurry that I burnt my hand when I was cooking breakfast．Then I ran out of the house to catch the 8：30 buses．This is the bus I usually take．But, you may laugh, I had missed it of course．I am very unhappy, and scared as well because my teacher hates the students come late to school．So I ran three miles to school only to discover that nobody was there．The school was quiet but peaceful．Our schoolroom was locked．I realized that it was Sunday．
