Kids in the US may not get presents for Thanksgiving next Thursday, but they’ll still have fun. Why? Because they get the day off school!

   Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year . It’s a time to be with your family, to eat and play.

   Thanksgiving was first celebrated in 1620. That year English people went to the US for the first time.

   They found farming in the US hard . But with the help of the native Indians, they still got a lot of food.

Mike and Dick work in the same office. They don’t like the cold weather. And one day they decided to take their holiday in Australia. Their plane arrived in Sydney at nine in the morning.
