Mr Smith was ill and he went to see a doctor. The doctor asked  him to put out his tongue(舌头), and then he said, “OK, You can put your tongue back now. There’s nothing wrong with you, but I’m afraid you have a problem. You hardly ever take exercise.”

  “But, doctor,” Mr Smith said, “I don’t think so.”

  “Would you please listen to me, doctor? Mr Smith said, getting a little angry with his doctor.

  “I’m a postman,” Mr Smith went on, “and I walk for nearly(几乎)seven hours every day.”

I'm here today to share a good lesson with you. It is a true story about a student who studied in Germany.

After years of hard work, this student graduated with amazing achievements. Everyone was sure that he was going to get a good job easily and have a bright future. But to his surprise, he was not even given the chance for an interview! The third time he was refused, he couldn't help telephoning the company to ask why they didn't want him. A man was walking along the street when he saw a woman carrying a large box. It was half in and half out of her car. So the man went up and said, “The box looks very heavy. Let me give you a hand.”
