The man in the advertisement on the right is wearing an orange T-shirt and blue trousers. This is interesting because these two colours have different meanings. Orange represents success and can cheer you up if you are feeling sad about something. Blue represents sadness and calm. I think success is important to him, but he also looks like he needs to calm down. His shoes are white, which represents calm and peace, but his glasses are black. Black represents power and passion. I think this man has trouble making decisions. He seems to be moving very fast and doing many things at the same time. I do not think this is a good advertisement because most people would rather relax and feel calm than be very busy, like the man in the picture. However, red is a good colour for the phone because red represents power and strength. People who enjoy being busy also like to feel strong and powerful. 查看更多

Now more and more people in the world are getting fatter. This troubles them a lot. Experts(专家) say that it has a lot to do with  our eating habits.
Our eating habits are very important for good health and a strong body. Most of us like eating sweets and ice cream better than vegetables and rice. Sweets and ice cream are not bad for us if we eat them at the end of a meal. If we eat them before a meal, they may take away our appetite(食欲).
It's important for us to eat our meal in the same period  each day. When we feel worried or excited, we may not want to eat. A long time ago, in England, some judges(法官) often decided whether a man was telling the truth by giving him some dry bread. If the man could not swallow(吞) the bread, it meant that he wasn't telling the truth. Because when a man is worried about something, he will have trouble in swallowing anything dry, because he loses his appetite.

I usually get up at 5:00. I make coffee, go to my desk and work. When my boys get up, I’m theirs. I follow the min to the kitchen and make them breakfast. While they’re eating, I make their lunch, pick out their school clothes and get the little one dressed.
My wife takes them to school. I bring them home. I am not the only father at the school gate. The boys and I walk the 12 blocks home unless the weather is terrible. Then we take the subway. I remind them of looking out, like an animal looking after their babies.
At home, they play on the computer and the little one will draw, sometimes for hours. When their mother comes home, they run to her. She has been in the official day and tired, but her attention is all on them.
I have made dinner. We sit down and eat together. After they do their homework, Karen takes them to bed. I listen to the noise of the boys’ and their mother’s voice.
One afternoon when we were on the way home from school, the boys and I stopped at the clothing store. The saleswoman looked at the boys and said to me in a low voice, “You’re Mr. Mom, aren’t you?” I felt very angry. I’m not Mr. Mom. That’s not how I look at myself. The boys have a mother, a wonderful mother. She works outside the home, I work in the home. We are parents together. I’m a father!
