We find different kinds of animals in the world. Some animals such as tigers and lions live in   1   forests and they are called   2   animals. Some others like sheep and dogs are kept by men and they are called domestic(¼ÒÑøµÄ) animals.   3   these animals are very different from each other, but we can   4   them into two big groups: those that eat other animals and those that eat grass and leaves. Animals like the tiger belong to the first group. Animals like cows, elephants and horses belong to the second group.

Animals are of great   5   to human beings. Men   6   wild animals for their fur and meat. Domestic animals are even more important to men. Without them life will be very   7  . People make use of animals in many ways.

Cows and pigs are useful   8   men¡¯s   9  . They gives 80% of   10   men eat every year. Skin of some animals can be made   11   expensive overcoats and shoes, which are warm and comfortable and   12   a long time. They are very welcome in cold countries. Wool, which is now   13   of the most important materials for textile(·ÄÖ¯) industry, comes from a special kind of sheep.   14   cows, we get milk. And we should not   15   that some domestic animals are kept for transport(ÔËÊä). Many people   16   ride on horse. Arabs ride on   17   which travel in deserts for days without   18  . In some places animals are still used   19   fields.   20   is clear that men just can¡¯t live without these animals.

Besides electricity, a lion fears water the most and a rainstorm with thunder and lightning brings both. For that reason I always have a written 1 that frees me from 2 when it¡¯s raining.

For two days it was raining without stopping. By the third night, it wasn¡¯t raining at all. I gave the sign to the announcer, and the band began playing my music.

The animals went through their tricks, but they were far from being 3 about the wetness.

And so we came to the head-in-mouth 4 . When I pulled Leo¡¯s mouth open, raising his face and nose to the 5 , I noticed that the muscles of his jaws were tense. Then, as I put my head in, a rain began pouring down. I felt Leo become 6 all over.

My head was in now. I counted to ten and then gave him the tap on jaw 7 to let me go. But this time 8 happened.

I 9 again on his jaw. Leo's mouth was like a steel trap(¼Ð×Ó). I heard 10 men trying to get Leo¡¯s 11. But already, with my face 12 in the back of his mouth, I was finding it 13 to breathe. I knew what had happened: with the rain beating on his face, Leo had 14 me. I heard the gunfire again...

I awoke with an oxygen mask (ÑõÆøÕÖ) 15 my face, and a doctor was working over me. ¡°You¡¯re lucky,¡±said the doctor,¡°as soon as you went faint (Ôε¹), the lion 16 you. For nearly three minutes you had no heart-beat !¡±

By then it had stopped raining. I called Leo back and 17 his jaw.¡°Don't be a fool!¡±the doctor said, 18 I put my head in and counted to ten. Then I gave Leo the tap on jaw, and he obeyed immediately.

Yet, when I tried the trick again the next time, Leo 19 . I believed he was unwilling to 20 me a second time. I never did the trick again.
