It is reported, some needy students receive financial support from some kind people but never express our thanks. Personally, I think they are wrong. Though the helpers didn’t expect any reward in return, it is necessary and good manner to say “thank you”. Besides, it is a basic social skill express ourselves in modern society. Maybe some of them do feel thankfully. It is only because they are afraid of looked down upon which they remain silent. It is over 3 year now since I began study English. At first I found it very difficult. I couldn’t get most of the sounds right, spell the words correctly and remember the rules of the grammar. Under the help of my English teacher and classmates, I have made many progress. Now I am getting well with my English study. Three years’ study have taught me that one can’t learn English well without working hard. We should do more listening and speaking both in and out of the class. I like riding my bike．Though it is not very new, but it is my best friend．I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike．Riding gives me not only exercises but also pleasure．I use my bike almost in summer when the weather is warm and dry．It can be very pleasant in winter when it is cold and rain is pour down．It can also be very dangerous．Of course I will be very carefully on my bike．In fact, accidents are not the only problem．Once I went to bookstore on my mother’s bike to buy some books and come out to find the bike missing．Now I have two strong lock．

Yesterday, I saw the old lady fall down when I was hurrying to school. I was about to help her up while suddenly a passer-by stop me, saying that I might be accused of knocking her down. Heard his words, I began to hesitate and slow down my steps. At the same time, another student, that saw everything, went up to help. The old lady said nothing but lots of thank to the good boy. I felt ashamed. As is known to all, help others is forever a good virtue. Even though some old people are becoming immorally, we can’t let it to disappear. I have made my mind that I will reach out my hand without hesitation next time.
