One day, a cat is going fishing to the river. On his way there, he meets an ox. He is ploughing(犁地). The cat asks, “Uncle Ox, what are you doing?” The ox answers, “I'm growing(种) crops(庄稼) and I want to eat them.” The cat is very happy after hearing this. He thinks, “If I grow fish, then I don't need to go fishing any more. That's great!” So he hurries back home. He digs(挖) a big pit(坑) in his garden. He is going to grow a big fish. He puts the fish in the pit. He waters the fish very day. He waits and waits. But there is no fish coming up. He is very angry, but he doesn't know what's wrong with it.
