    One day, Tom was walking on the street. He was lost. He did not know where to find things in the city. So he asked a man for the way to the nearest post office.

    “ Oh, dear,” said the man, “ don’t you know that all post offices are closed today? It is Saturday.”

    “Really?”

    At that time, another man was walking down the street with a beautiful woman. Tom asked the woman if all post offices were closed on Saturday. “ No,” she answered. “ Go along and turn left, then you can see one on your right. And it takes you five minutes to walk there.”

    Tom did not know them at all. But he followed the woman’s directions to the nearest post office.

    After he finished all the things in the post office, Tom began to sing. But sadly, he was not a good singer. He could only sing one note.
