         Yesterday was Sunday. Tom and his mother were at home. Tom woke (酲)  ate and lay (躺) on the bed watching TV. And he ate much chocolate. Then it was noon. Tom had to get up.

    Jenny felt more confident about her life after reading the advice of her star sign. She always followed the advice of her star sign—Virgo.

    One Monday, it said, “Don't go to another city this week, or you could miss a great chance.”“ I don’t think I have to go to another city this week,” thought Jenny.
