One such American expression is "Where's the beef?" It's used when something isn't as good as it's said to be. Beef, of course, is the meat for a cow, and no food is more popular in American than a ham burger made from beef. In the l960s a businessman named Ray Kroc began buildings small restaurant that sold hamburgers at a low price. Kroc called his restaurant "McDonald’s". Ray Kroc became one of the richest businessmen in America. Other business people watched his success. Some of them opened their own hamburger restaurants.   Dream House in Georgia isn’t a house for only one or two children. It’s one for many children who need help. It’s a family. It’s a future!
