Do you feel lonely when your best friend isn’t around? Here’s our advice to you ---and to all kids who feel lonely sometimes. 
It’s hard when a best friend isn’t around --- maybe because he or she moved to a different school or a different class. You may feel left out at break or lunchtime. You want to have new friends, but how do you make them? Maybe it seems everybody else already has his or her friends. But remember, there’s always room for more friends.
Start by looking around your classroom --- think about which kids you’d like to play with at break. Look for chances to say hi to them, smile, and be friendly. Offer to share something or express your appreciation (欣赏) to them. Invite someone to play with you or say, “Do you want to sit here?” in the lunchroom. When you’re at break, walk over to kids you want to play with, act friendly, and say “Hi, can I play, too?” or just join in. 
If you have trouble doing this or if you’re feeling shy, ask your teacher to help you make new friends. Teachers are usually pretty good at matching up friends. The best way to make friends is to be a friend. Be kind, be friendly, share, say nice things, offer to help ---and pretty soon, you’ll have one, or two, or even more new friends.
You might still miss that special best friend. But when you see each other, you can share something you didn’t have before he or she left. You can introduce him or her to your new friends!

Jack is a twenty-year-old young man．Two years ago，when he finished middle school，he found work in a shop．Usually he works until ten o’clock in the evening．He is very tired when he gets home．After a quick supper he goes to bed and soon falls asleep．His grandma who lives downstairs is satisfied with him．

Happiness is for everyone. You don't need to care about the rich. Though they have beautiful houses with large gardens and swimming pools, they may often feel lonely.
In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in trouble at school, your teachers will help you; when you do something wrong, people around you feel unhappy; when you succeed in something, your friends will say congratulations to you. All these are your happiness. If you notice a bit of them, you can see that happiness is always around you.
Happiness is not the same as money. It is a feeling(感觉) of your heart. Although you are poor, you can also say you are very happy. Money is not everything. You have something else that money can't buy. When you meet with difficulties, you can loudly say you are very happy because you have more chances to challenge(挑战) yourself. So you can not always say you are poor and you have bad luck. If you take every chance you get, you can be a happy and lucky person.

Today almost everyone knows computers and the Internet. If I ask you “What is the most important thing in your life?” maybe you will say “Computers and the Internet”.
The first computer was made in 1946. It was very big but it worked slowly.. Today, computers are getting smaller and smaller, but they work faster and faster. What can computers do? A writer has said, “People can't live without computers today.”

Young men, especially the middle school students like the Internet very much. They often go into the Internet bars as soon as they are free. They are so interested in making the “unreal friends” that they can't put their heart into study. Some of them play the games in the Internet bars all day and all night. Many of them can't catch up with others in many subjects because of that.
Now the government has done many things. Some gangster Internet bars(黑网吧)have been banned. But that's not enough. The teachers and parents are still worrying about their students and children.
We can use computers and the Internet to learn more about the world. But at the same time, we should remember that computers and the Internet could not do all the things.
