We believe that life will be 1 after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are discouraged that the kids aren¡¯t 2 enough and we¡¯ll be more pleased when they are. After that, we¡¯re discouraged that we have teenagers to 3 . We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our 4 will be complete when we get a nicer car, when we have our 5 house, when we are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire, when we win the lottery(²ÊƱ).
The 6 is, there¡¯s no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, 7 ?Your life will always be filled with challenges. It¡¯s best to admit this to yourself and decide to be 8
right now.
So, 9 every moment that you have. Recognize that each 10 you take is a gift and be 11 . Remember that time waits for no one. So stop 12 until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you 13 the weight, until you have kids, until your kids 14 the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get 15 , until you get divorced(Àë»é), until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is 16 , until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you¡¯ve had a drink, until you

Happiness is a(n) 19 , not a purpose. So, work like you don¡¯t need 20 , love like you¡¯ve never been hurt, and dance like no one¡¯s watching.

Sometimes people come into your life and you come to realize that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out whom you are or who you want to become. You never know 16¡¡ these people may be, but when you lock eyes with them, you know in an instant that they will 17¡¡ your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but
18¡¡ you find that without overcoming difficulties you would have never realized your 19 , strength, willpower or heart. Everything happens for a 20 . Nothing happens¡¡ 21¡¡ or by means of good luck. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a¡¡ 23¡¡ paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and 24 , but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you 25¡¡ who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you 26 , help to create who you are and who you become. Even the¡¡ 27¡¡ experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are the most important ones. If someone hurt you or breaks your heart, 28 them, for they have helped you learn about¡¡ 29¡¡ and the importance of being¡¡ 30 . Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it¡¡ 31 . Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every 32¡¡ to. Tell yourself you are great and believe in yourself, for 33¡¡ you don¡¯t believe in yourself, it will be hard for 34¡¡ to believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no¡¡ 35 . Most importantly (!!!), if you love someone tell him or her, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.

¡¡¡¡ Millions of years ago, whales lived 1 and walked on 2 . Today whales 3 have small bones, 4 can only be seen on the inside of them. No one knows 5 whales left the land to live in the water. 6 , scientists can imagine when the whales changed their 7 conditions, their bodies underwent (¾Àú) a change¡ªshowing a 8 fish-like appearance. This new 9 offered less resistance (µÖ¿¹) to the water. And the whales could 10 faster.
¡¡¡¡ Whales are not fish. 11 will die, just as a man will, if it stays under water too long. When a whale is under water it closes its 12 and holds its breath. The air in its lungs becomes very hot and its lungs are 13 water vapor. when a whale rises 14 and breathes, its hot breath produces a fountain (ÅçȪ) of water that rises high in the air. A man produces 15 effect when he breathes warm air on a cold morning. ¡¡¡¡

Men are the cleverest and most dangerous (ΣÏÕµÄ) animals on the earth. 16 come second. Men kill many beasts, they've even killed millions of men since very long ago, but rats kill 17 men. Rats carry many diseases (¼²²¡) and these diseases have killed and are still killing thousands and thousands of men 18 in many countries. Rats are dangerous not in only one 19 . They not only carry diseases into men's homes, they also eat up men's food. They eat 33 million tons of 20 every year. Men starve because rats eat their food. Rats are 21 , too. They have good leaders to tell them the food is 22 when men put poison (¶¾Ò©) in it. There are a lot of rats in our cities and 23 today. We can go to the moon, but we can not kill all these horrible animals. Is it 24 this dangerous enemy is too clever and 25 too fast, or we are not clever enough and not clean enough?

A Standard of Excellence
My l4-year-old son, John, and I spotted the coat almost at the same time in the secondhand clothing store. __36__ the other coats were hanging down loosely, this one looked as if it were __37__ itself up. The thick, black wool was soft and unworn. It had a black velvet collar, beautiful tailoring and an __38__ price of $28. We looked at each other, saying nothing, but John¡¯s eyes shone. Dark, woolen overcoats were popular with teenage boys, but could cost several hundred dollars new. This coat was even better, __39__ that touch of classic elegance from long ago.
John tried it on and turned from side to side, __40__ himself in the mirror with a(n) __41__, studied expression that soon changed into a smile. The __42__ was perfect.
John wore the coat to school the next day and came home with a wide smile. ¡°How did the kids like your coat?¡± I asked. ¡°They __43__ it!¡± he said, carefully folding it over the back of a chair and __44__ it flat.
Over the next few weeks, a change came over John. __45__ replaced contrariness; __46__, reasoned discussion replaced argument. He became more mannerly and more thoughtful, eager to __47__ me. ¡°Good dinner, Mom,¡± he would say every evening. One day when I suggested that he might start __48__ homework before dinner, John, who was always putting off doing stuff, said, ¡°You¡¯re __49__. I guess I will.¡±
When I __50__ this incident to one of his teachers and remarked that I didn¡¯t know what caused the __51__, she said laughing, ¡°It must be his coat!¡± At the library, we ran into a friend who had not seen our children for a long time, ¡°Could this be John?¡± he asked, looking up to John¡¯s new height, __52__ the style of his coat and extending his hand, one gentleman to another.
John and I both know we should never __53__ a person¡¯s clothes for the real person within them. But there is something to be said for __54__ a standard of excellence for the world to see, for practicing standards of excellence in thought, speech, and behavior, and for __55__ what is on the inside to what is on the outside.
