Carl lost his job. The poor man had so little money that he spent his days at home. He watched his neighbor’s room, where an old professor lived, He found that the room was full of antique(古董)furniture and vases. Then an idea came up to his mind, “Why not take an antique vase? l could sell it for a lot of money. ”

Ruben lived in a small village. There was no school there and he had to study in a school in the town. It was nearly five kilometres away from his village.
