People have all sorts of thoughts that they wish to express. For many reasons, most people just keep their
thoughts to themselves and never share them with others. One from of self-expression is the written word.
For many people, it is easier to express their thoughts or emotions in writing. It is an especially popular way
of expressing feelings among shy people.
People's thoughts are written down and then published so that others can read and enjoy them. There are
many reasons why newspapers and publishers actually publish people's thoughts, but the main reason is to
give information.
With the introduction of newer technologies, new ways now exist for people to share their thoughts. Blogs
are just one way to share ideas more quickly. People can now let the world know their hopes, dreams and
day-to-day activities through a web log. Tools exist to make starting such a page quite simple. Better than that,
many advertiser driven sites allow customers to create their own web log for free!
The word "blog" comes from the words "web" and "log". Blogging is the term that is used to identify activities
relating to a blog, such as authoring it,updating (更新) and adding information. Articles in a blog are known as
posts, and the blogger is the person who puts articles on the blog.
The fastest growing method of communication today is the blog. It can bring down governments,
affect (影响) elections and can affect policies. Blogs can change the world by changing the opinions of
large numbers of people around the world.
Robin asked us to share inspiring favorite words that other people had spoken. As I rolled through ideas in my head, my 1 kept returning to an event from my youth.
The words spoken were not 2 in their delivery. The person who received them wasn’t me. And, the life-changing event 3 to someone else. But I remember it very well. My friend Evonne was a skinny little girl. We weren’t best friends, but we were 4 . We 5 a classroom every year from 2nd through 8th grade. On a cold winter day, I waited in line to see my hero, Jack Canfield, the author of The Success Principles, who was going to deliver a speech on his new book.
