　 It is + adjective + “for”…+(not) to – infinitive.

形容词kind, brave, clever, silly, foolish, honest, lazy, careless, wise, polite, rude, good, nice, wrong, impolite, selfish, unselfish 等作表语时，可用It is + adjective + “of” … + (not) to – infinitive.结构。在这一结构中，形容词都对不定式行为者及其所作的行为进行评价，因此本句型可用不定式行为者作作主语进行转换，试比较：

It is kind of you to say so.

You are kind to say so.

你这样说太好了。

It’s foolish of him to go alone.

He was foolish to go alone.

他单独去太傻。

形容词difficult, easy, hard, dangerous, important, necessary, impossible, pleasant, funny, useful, strange及某些现在分词等作表语时，可用It is + adjective + “for”…+(not) to – infinitive.结构。这一结构中，形容词只表示不定式行为的性质，不表示不定式行为者的性质。这一结构，可以转换为用不定式宾语作句子的主语。如：

Mary is easy for you to teach.
