A fruit that everyone must have in summer, that makes us feel more comfortable and cools us down. A fruit that tastes great. That is my favorite fruit, the watermelon.

　　 A watermelon normally has a round shape with hard green rind and sweet juicy pulp. Every time I start eating one, I want to have more. It tastes sweet. It smells fresh. Inside the watermelon, the flesh is normally red or yellow with a sweet smell that attracts me to eat it. Watermelon is very healthy for people to eat, because watermelon is an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin A. Therefore my parents love to buy watermelons for me. In summer, I can eat a huge one every day, but there’s a very bad disadvantage -I can’t stop going to the toilet! Watermelon is 92 percent water by weight, the highest percentage of any fruit! That’s why it causes me to go to the toilet so often.

　　 To eat a watermelon, I will first use a knife and cut it in half. After that I will take a big spoon and start digging into it. It’s quite fun!

　　 No matter how often I eat watermelon, no matter how common it appears on earth, I always find it the most delicious fruit. That is my favorite fruit: watermelon, the best fruit in the world.
