Nowadays, teachers tend to tear out the answer-and-explanation of  教育博客 work books part before handing out to students. In order to find out the students’ opinions on this practice, the Students’ Union carried out a survey.  教育博客

The results show that the majority of students (73.3%) are against this kind of practice. According to them, if they have the answers, they can check their homework the moment they finish it. Thus, they can correct their mistakes right away. What is more important, teachers should trust their students.

On the other hand, about one fifth of the students (18.6%) are on the teachers’ side. They think with no ready answers some students have nothing to copy from. This, in turn, encourages them to think independently.

I think teachers have no right to take away my answers. In addition, without the answers, I have no idea whether I have done the exercises correctly. Therefore, there is no way for me to be sure I am on the right path with my study.
