A few years ago a group of salesmen went to a meeting in Chicago. They had assured their wives that they would be home in plenty of time for Friday night’s dinner. Become a Special Olympics Coach in your favorite sport. Help get quality athletic uniforms and equipment for athletes. Set up Training Schools for volunteers in China. Duties include timers, scorekeepers, officials, announcers, award presenters.

Athletes form teams that compete in a variety of sports. Adopt the Olympics Sports Skill Programs as part of your adaptive physical education and after school program.Organize a student fund-raiser to collect money for 2008 Beijing Olympics teams.
