Martin is a fifteen-year-old boy. He used to be a“problem child”, but a recent 46  with his mother changed his life. He didn’t use to give his mother many problems. 47, after his father’s death a few years ago, Martin’s life became 48 more difficult. His mother couldn’t afford to pay for her child’s education. Dear Annie,
I have never written a letter to a newspaper before, I have just never felt the need to do such a thing. I have always felt I was quite able to do everything by myself. But now I know I was wrong.
Sometimes you really need help in life, I guess. And that’s why I’m writing this letter to you.
