How are you? As a exchange student, I am writing to tell you I would prefer to move into a single room in next term, as I find it inconvenient to share a room with others. My roommate often held parties at night, made much noise. Besides, his friends are always visiting him, that disturbs me a lot. So I hope to draw your attentions to this problem. If you think in my position, I am sure he will agree that the only solution for me is get a room of my own, one not in the same building and as near to the school campus as possible. One Sunday morning we go fishing at a lake. We took ours fishing poles and headed for the lake. As soon as we arrived, so we dropped the lines into the water. Before waiting for half an hour, I was beginning to get impatiently. I wanted to give up, and my grandfather told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there were a sudden pull at the pole and fish was caught. Within the next few minute, my grandfather also caught a fish.

Felt hungry, we built a fire by the lake and barbecued the fish. It was delicious.

After news spread which the eight-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps used marijuana, a heating discussion took place in our class. Opinions divided on the issue.
Some classmates argued Phelps deserved to be forgiven as he has made a sincere apology to the public and had willing accepted his punishment. What’s more, they argued, we shouldn’t expect him to be perfect just because he is a public figure -after all, he is still a young man during his early twenties. We all make mistake and Phelps is no exception.
However, others disagreed because like a role model, Phelps’s behavior had a bad influence on thousands of our young fans.
As far as I am concerned, his success story can inspire us to be succeed; on the other hand, his scandal is also a lesson for us.

Today I showed some foreign friend around our city. We started off in car from the Friendship Hotel at 8:00 a.m. We first got to Jiangnan Park. We are all struck by its beautiful flowers on show. Then, we visited the City Museum. We saw plenty of valuable things, from that we learned a lot about the city. After that, they drove to Bei Shan Park. That is a beautiful place of interest in our city, but there we enjoyed the wonderfully scenery of the lake. We had delicious lunch at the seafood restaurant and we returned back at noon. All the foreign friends were pleased with my arrangement. We did have the wonderful time today.
