　　On Manhattan are some of the most wonderful sights in the new world, as great and splendid as any of those in the Old World. Which is the easiest way to see them?

First, get a map of the New York city. These maps are often supplied free at petrol stations and tourist offices. Of course, you take a bus tour, but the better way to see the sights is to walk, and you’ll walk with your head thrown hack so that you can look up at the tall buildings rising like steep cliffs (峭壁悬崖) on either side of the streets.
