第二节   书面表达

One possible version:

From October 26th 2008 to April 30th, 2009, students in primary schools are supposed to run 1000 meters per day, junior 1500m and senior and college 2000m. People hold different opinions about it.

In my opinion, the long-distance winter activity will be good for building up our body as well as our mind. However, such a big amount of exercise may be too much for some students. As it seems to me, we should have a variety of activities to choose from to meet the different requirements. Also, the distance for running should be flexible with different students so long as it can make us strong.
