　　“Tom? Are you in bed yet?”called Mrs White. There was no answer. Mrs White put down her book and went to her 14-year-old son’s room. Tom was sitting in front of a bright computer screen on which a colorful dragon(龙)jumped and shouted.

This game, Dragonsplayer, is my favourite, but I sometimes borrow games from Danny and other friends. 　　More and more students came in, but the boy didn't stop crying. “Morn, I want to go home. ” He cried again and again. Later, the teacher came in. 　　Mr Young worked in a factory. One day he broke an important part of a machine and was sent away. He couldn't find any work any longer. He had to roam(流浪) here and there. One day when he was walking by a river, an Englishman fell into it and the water would nearly wash him away. In the time of danger, Mr Young jumped into the river and saved him. The Englishman thanked him very much and took him to England and helped him find a job in London. A few years later, he could speak English but could neither read nor write.
