John was visiting he 90-year-old grandpa, who lived in the country. In the first morning of the visit, John grandpa prepared a breakfast of bacon and eggs. Just go ahead and finish your meal.” For lunch, Grandpa made hamburgers. Again, John has found the plates were dirty, but he asked the same question. Without looking up, his grandpa gave same answer. Later, as John was left, his grandpa’s dog started to growl(咆哮), and wouldn’t let him pass. Grandpa shouted at the dog, “Cold Water, go lie down!”

Dear Tom,

It is great to receive your email. Now I’d like tell you something which took place in my school yesterday. In the afternoon we hold a grown-up ceremony for our coming 18 years old birthday. At first we made an oath that as grown-up we should have a sense of duty for our social from now on. Then we showed our thanks for to our parents who had gone through hardships to bring us up and teachers who have been educating us patient. And our teachers also gave us cards expressed their good wishes to us. Finally, we put on wonderful performances, singing or dancing. We learned a lot from the activity. I think its very important for us. I will never remember the day in 

my life.

I have made a new friends recently. His name is Jackson, and he is from the America. How did we get to know each other? You may think we are pen-friends, and you are wrong. We actually have never written to each other before we met. Here is the story. A week before, there was a summer camp in our school. Some American students came to join in us. I was very good on English, especially spoken English, so I was chosen to take part this camp. Jackson was very interesting in Peking Opera, and I liked it, too.
