Fear and its companion pain are two of the most useful things that man and animals possess if they are used. I remember as a small child people would often ask me, "What are you going to be when you grow up?"

    I entered high school having read hundreds of books. But I was not a good reader. Merely bookish, I lacked a point of view when I read. Rather, I read in order to get a point of view.
