A woman in her sixties lived alone in her little cottage with a pear tree at her door. She spent all her time taking care of the tree. But the children nearby drove her  16 by making fun of her. They would climb her tree and then run away with pears,  17 “Aunty Misery” at her.

A camp built by students and volunteers spreads over Southern Methodist University（SMU）. The affordable  21  are designed to be used by the poor as well as survivors of war and natural disasters.

“By the time 2020, there’s going to be about 1.7 billion people living in slums（贫民窟） so we would like to  22  change,” says Stephanie Hunt, co-founder of the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanities at SMU. A school teacher decided to let her class play a game. The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few    16  .
