All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect.” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it. It’s easy to understand. Once I wanted to learn swimming. At first I found difficult to control my body. I just sank into the water. I feel very frightened. Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed. I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised. A day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming poo1, I sudden found that I could swim. How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before.

In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard
University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer
software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be
crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs.
To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As
a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

Grandma Moses was crazy about painting soon before she picked it up and worked hard at

it．She painted careful and her works were nice．She first painted only to please oneself, and

then began to sell her works with a little money．In 1993, a collector, Louis Caldor happen to

see several of Grandma Moses’ work hanging in a shop．He liked them, buying them at once,

and set out to look for less．Caldor held a show to introduce the works of Grandma Moses

other artists．Grandma Moses, who was world-famous, was died on December 13, 1961, at

the age of 101．

When tea and coffee was first introduced to Europe in the 18th century, people thought they were harm. So the king of Sweden decided to find out that this was true or not. It was happened that there were two brothers were in prison at the time. The king ordered one of them to drink tea every day and other coffee. Both of them have lived many years without any problem. At last the one who had to drink tea died on the age of 83 and the other lived even long. Because of this, Sweden is today one of the country where tea and coffee are drunk.
