One can have many experiences, but the one I never forget is my bicycling trip in Taiwan. When we were going to   46  school, my teacher suggested that we could do something special to remember our school life. After a long discussion, we decided to travel  47  the whole island by bicycle.

We began to get some training to make our   48  stronger. So we ran 3,000 meters after school. At first, I could only ran about 2,000 meters. My legs were heavy like steel and my heart    49  very fast. After two weeks of training, I could run 3,000 meters   50 .

We started our journey the last week of July. We rode about 100 kilometers   51  . It was very hot and our clothes were  52  all the time. One day, we were riding up the mountain when there were  53  wrong with my bicycle, and I fell and was hurt. I almost gave up and didn’t want to   54  the trip, but I tried to solve the problems successfully and kept on. Fifteen days passed, we returned to school again. We were so   55  .

This experience was like a miracle for me. I learned that I could do what I want to.

It was the last night of my summer camp.  16  I didn’t want to leave, I had to go back home the next day. I didn’t want to pack (收拾行装). I just wanted to make the night go  17  . How I wished that I could make time  18  at that moment! However, it seemed that time flew more quickly than before. I  19   on the bed, but I wasn’t   20  at all. I just closed my   21  , thinking of every minute I had    22   with my friends during the camp.

Just then, someone  23  the door. “Open the door, please.” said a soft   24  . I thought it was my friend, Elle. So I replied, “It’s open.” Then the door   25 . When I looked at the door, I was   26 . There stood all my friends, Elle, Lily, Sally and Allie. Together they walked over to my  27   and then each of them gave me a big hug (拥抱). We  28  our phone numbers and e-mail addresses to each other. We said that no matter how far we would be away from each other, we would  29  forget each other.

Just then, a tear slowly rolled down my face. As I looked up, I noticed all of my friends’ eyes were also   30  .

She is a beautiful red-haired girl. She has been shopping with her Mom in Wal-Mart. It was 1 outside. We all stood there under the  2  , just outside the door.
Her voice was so sweet that it  3  the dull (沉闷的) surroundings (环境). “Mom, let’s run through the rain,” she said.
“What?” Mom asked.
“Let’s run through the rain!” she repeated.
“No, honey. We’ll wait  4   it slows down a bit,” Mom replied.
This young child waited about another  5   and repeated: “Mom, let’s run through the rain.”
“We’ll get wet if we do,” Mom said.
“No, we won’t, Mom. That’s not what you said this morning,” the young girl said as she  6   her Mom’s arm.
“This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?”
“Don’t you remember? When you were  7  to Daddy about his cancer, you said, ‘If God can get us through this, he can get us through  8  !”
The crowd became   9 . Nothing could be heard but the rain. No one came or left in the next few minutes.
Mom thought for a moment about what she would say. “Honey, you are right. Let’s run through the rain. If we get wet, maybe we’ll just need to get a wash.” Mom said.
Then off they ran. People all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they rushed past the cars and through the puddles(水坑). They held their shopping bags over their heads. They got wet through. But they were  10  by a few who laughed like children all the way to their cars.
People can take away your money and health. But no one can ever take away your memories… So don’t forget to make time to make memories every day.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

My friends and I had just finished lunch at a hotel when it started to rain heavily. When it became lighter, I decided to get my   1  which was parked at my office three streets away.

My friends   2  that I shouldn’t go, mainly because I was seven months pregnant (怀孕的) then. I promised that I’d be very   3 . One of them wanted to come with me but I insisted that she stayed with another friend who needed help   4  her baby.

I walked out of the hotel and started making my way to the car. At the crossing, a van stopped and a man came out with an umbrella. Before I knew what was happening, he walked right   5  me and told me he’d escort (护送) me. Although I refused, he insisted that he would.

During our walk, he kept telling me to walk slower, as the ground was   6 . When we got to the car-park, I thanked him and he went away. I did not get his name and can   7  recognize (认出) him now. Did he stop for me? I’ll never know.

So how did I pay it forward? I was at home when I noticed two Indian workers   8  in the heavy rain. They were probably on their way to the working place near my home. I went out and passed them my   9 , telling them they should take and keep it. They were surprised by my action. They were very grateful to me, probably   10  why a stranger was offering such kindness. I was so relaxed and happy that day.

How is the weather in Xinjiang?
