Liu Wei is very famous in China because he can play the piano with

his toes(脚趾).

One day when Liu Wei was only 10 years old, he played a game with

some friends. He lost both his arms because of electricity(电).

Claude Monet(莫奈) was born in 1840 in Paris, France. When he was five, his family moved to a place on the coast where he spent a lot of time on the beaches. It was here that he started to understand novels(小说).

Eileen Collins is the first woman ever chosen to be a spaceship pilot. She is also the first woman to command(指挥) a spaceship. Today she has flown more than 5, 000 hours in more than 30 kinds of airplanes.
