To
begin the class Ask some sentences How was your weekend? What did you do last weekend? Check the answers Ask a few pairs to recite their conversations Let the students look at 1a ,there are some pictures and phrases match them(we can also let the students guess what they are doing to lead out the phrases ,then turn into the past tense) Then ask someone to say the phrases Play the tape The first time The second time The teacher check the answers Ask the students to have a conversation about 2a Make a conversation Ask what your partner did last weekend.(using the phrases we learned in the listening ) Then let the students show their conversations to the class,while listening ,you should write what they did last weekend . Make the students report what we learned this class, Ask them to read the things we learned . A:read the conversations and remember them. B:make sentences with the questions we learned this class.
