Respecting Parents Program

　Showing respect to parents is one of the Chinese traditional moral values, As most of the students today are “the only child” in their family, they often regard themselves as the “centre”of the family without caring much about their parents. American Congress first passed the law in 2002. Stores have had to label seafood by country of origin since 2005. But industry pressure delayed other requirements until last week.

Products that must now be labeled include fresh fruits and vegetables, muscle meats and some kinds of nuts. But the rules are complex, and many foods are excluded.

For example, organ meats are free to be labeled. So are processed foods, including cooked or smoked foods.

An Australian company, Smart Car Technologies, has developed a system that lets drivers know when they’re speeding．When the technology becomes commercially available, it could help lead-footed drivers avoid tickets and also save lives．The company that developed the product hopes to convince Australian government agencies to put the technology into use in their automobile fleets.
