Wall Street is a famous street in the New York. It got its name of the wooden wall that used to stand where the street now runs. The wall were built in the 1600s. So the Dutch built the wall in order that protect their town. The wall is gone, but Wall Street reminds the people in New York the Dutch who settle down there. It is the center of banking and finance.
