　　 Since the National Energy-saving and Pollutant-reducing Campaign was launched, a variety of publicity and education activities have been conducted across the country. People all over the country are taking part in the campaign, which is beneficial to the sustainable development of economy and society.

One part of the campaign, the Community Action Project, covers various aspects. People are called on to wash clothes by hand at least once a month to save limited water. Besides, it’s better to reduce the waste of grain and use air-conditioners in a proper way. It is also suggested that car owners not drive them but walk or use public transportations one day per month.

As middle school students, we also have a part to play. Firstly, we can recycle resources by giving used books to lower-grade students.
