Hello, everyone. I’m Jim Green. Do you want to know what problems cars have brought to our country ? Listen to this newspaper report I’ve found. There are some interesting facts in it.

It says there are more cars on our roads now than at any other time in history. There are millions of possible car buyers here, and car makers are busy making cars for them. However, there are fewer buyers now than in the last few years, and prices are lower. By the year 2020, there will be 480 million cars blocking our roads. That’s almost seven times the number of cars on our roads now.

The effect of all these cars will be pollution, which is already a major problem, especially in some of our big cities, where the sky is often a yellow-brown color. There are more road accidents in our country than in other ones. The traffic is not moving now and will only get worse in the future.
