　　 说话人在使用after all这一短语时要强调的是尽管有前面某种情况，但后面这种情况不能不考虑．用来引出对方似乎忘了的某个重要论点或理由．这时after all大多位于句首，意思是“不管怎么说”，“毕竟”．带有‘We mustn't forget．．．”之意．例如；
