  China will continue to spend more  37  education next year and spread the free nine-year compulsory education（免费九年义务教育）to urban children（城市儿童）．Said finance minister（财政部长）Xie Xuren．

    The government would continue  38  the funding system（拨款制度）to guarantee（保证）free nine-year compulsory education currently（畅通）enjoyed by 150 million rural children，while spreading it to their urban counterparts next year．Xie told an annual conference of the Ministry of Finance in Beijing．
